Welcome to the FSUK Waterpolo Section page, information about waterpolo events will appear here along with contact details of the event organisers, downloadable entry forms, posters and images of those taking part.
The main focus moving forward is to build on the success of our most recent fixture, where we secured a victory over the RAF in Sheffield at the Festival of Sport. It was a great result for the team and demonstrated the strength and potential within the section.

Looking ahead, we are keen to arrange more regular matches throughout the year to provide greater opportunities for participation and development. We want to maintain the momentum from our recent success and continue growing the profile of water polo within FSUK.
We are also always on the lookout for new players to join the team. Whether members are experienced water polo players or completely new to the sport, we would be delighted to hear from them. Our aim is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where people can enjoy the sport, represent the Fire Service, and be part of a growing team.

In January 2012, the UK FRS Waterpolo team competed against the British Police at an invitational tournament in the West Midlands. Although the Police have been going strong for a number of years, we managed to edge victory by just 1 goal, beating the Police team 14-13. This year sees the rematch and as such, the UK FRS team are asking for interested players to make themselves known to the team coach, Chris Kirby. The game will be played at the National Fire Service Swimming Championships in Manchester on 4th October.
